Hi Rosetta,

I am a old Detroiter now living in Minneapolis.
I listen to you while working now and it’s like the
old days in The Big D.

I have turned my coworkers on to your new venture.
Keep Up The Good Work!

I Bet You Didn't know.....

This year "The Rose" celebrates
43 years of being on the air!

The Day Rosetta went on the air
was April 4, 1968, the same day
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
was assassinated!
"I was on the radio and I felt guilty, but at the same
time I felt happy.I felt like I shouldn't have been there,
I should have been mourning, which I was, but I was
on the air. I just got through the night by playing
music and crying in between songs"

Rosetta Hines,

I have been listening to you since I
was  a teenager and I'm now 55
years young.  You are and will
always be my favorite radio
personality.  None does JAZZ like
the ROSE.  I am a fan for life.
Welcome back to the airwaves.
Detroit hasn't been the same
since you left.  Keep doing what
you do so well!!!  Love you and
peace and blessings to you.

Greetings to you Rosetta,

My heart is dancing again now
that I have found HINESITE5.
I have missed your voice as much
as your music selections and
education. You were such a big
part of my life. I'm glad to have
you back and will spread the
word!

Ms. Cecile Taylor

Thank you Rosetta

Speaking for us oldtimers here
in Detroit, this is our return to

Thank God I found you.

It was a big loss in my music life
when WJZZ went off air. Nothing
compares.  I feel like I have found
a part of my soul again. Thank
God, and thank you too Ms.
Hines.
I love you
.
